Mirza Nasir ud Din Mashhood Ahmad is a seasoned civil servant having commenced his illustrious career in the Civil Service in 1991. Currently serving as a 22 Grade Officer in the Secretariat Group, he holds the pivotal position of Director General at the National Commission for Human Development since July 25, 2023.

Mirza Nasir has demonstrated his expertise and dedication through various high-profile roles, including Special Secretary at the Health Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, and the Establishment Division.

Mirza Nasir ud Din Mashhood Ahmad's career is marked by an unwavering commitment to human rights, reflecting over two decades of dedicated service in the capacity of a human rights activist. Notably, he spent approximately three years as the Secretary of the National Commission for Human Rights of Pakistan, where he played a crucial role in championing the cause of human rights. He is M.A in International Relations from the University of Peshawar.
