Students of 11 Community Schools participated in the Sports Gala.All schools were divided in different houses such as daffodils, Lilies, ires, Jasmine, sunflower etc. DG NCHD visited all houses and interacted with their students and teachers. Students participated in various disciplines such as Sack Race, Sprint, Tug of war, Frog race, spoon race , musical chair and balloon bursting. Besides that the children also presented tableaus.

The Sports Day was a celebration of physical fitness, sportsmanship and the joy of participating in a healthy competition. The young athletes not only demonstrated their athletic abilities but also learned valuable lessons about teamwork, discipline and the spirit of sports.

DG NCHD appreciated the spirit of students in participating the event. He also praised the teachers for motivating students to participate in the healthy activities. He emphasized that sports and co-curricular activities are equally important as a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. He informed them that NCHD will strive to work for the improvement of Community school system. He shared the good news with the students that school bags, stationery items and teaching learning material will be provided to the students of NCHD’s Community Schools in the next academic session. DG NCHD appreciated the efforts of FO Ms. Nasira, the teachers and volunteers for conducting the event in a good manner and hope that other FOs will also conduct similar activities for providing healthy opportunities to the students.

The exhilarating sports events were followed by the award ceremony where medals and gifts were awarded to outstanding athletes, acknowledging their dedication and achievements in the various sports.. The cheers and applause echoed the spirit of sportsmanship, leaving a lasting memory of a successful and memorable day for the Students of NCHD’s Community Schools.
