NCHD and Grand Asian University Join Hands to Promote Each One Teach One (EOTO) Initiative in Sialkot
The National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Grand Asian University, Sialkot, to promote and expand the Each One Teach One (EOTO) initiative, fostering a culture of literacy, volunteerism, and social responsibility among university students. The MoU was signed by Dr. Mujahid Kamran, Vice Chancellor of Grand Asian University, and the Director General (DG), NCHD, during a ceremony held in Sialkot. On the occasion, Mr. Islam, Chairman of Islam Group of Industries, Colleges and University, appreciated the DG NCHD for introducing this meaningful initiative and acknowledged its potential to bring positive change through education. Each One Teach One (EOTO): Education Through Shared Responsibility EOTO is more than a literacy initiative; it is a movement that encourages educated individuals, particularly university students, to share their knowledge with those who have been deprived of educational opportunities. By teaching even one person to read and write, each volunteer can contribute to building a more educated, empowered, and inclusive society. Through this collaboration, NCHD and Grand Asian University aim to encourage student-led literacy activities, strengthen community engagement, and transform the spirit of volunteerism into meaningful educational action.
